What it is

Request a Playground Repair

A reactive repair is a fix carried out in response to a specific fault: worn or split safety surfacing, a broken or seized piece of equipment, damaged fencing or a gate that no longer latches. We repair any make of equipment, whether or not we installed it.

For a school, a quick repair is about more than tidiness. A single fault can force you to fence off a whole area or close it altogether, so getting it fixed fast keeps your playground working and keeps pupils safe while it is in use.

How to report a fault

Tell us what you have found and where, and a photo or two if you can take them safely. That helps us understand the fault, bring the right parts and give you an accurate quote without a wasted visit.

If the fault is dangerous, make the area safe and out of use straight away, then let us know it is urgent. We will advise on what to do in the meantime and get a repair booked in as quickly as we can.

FAQs

Request a Repair: common questions

How quickly can you repair a playground fault?

It depends on the fault and the parts needed, but we triage urgent safety issues first and aim to get them booked in quickly. Tell us it is urgent and send a photo, and we will advise on making the area safe in the meantime.

Can you repair equipment you did not install?

Yes. We repair equipment of almost any make and age, regardless of who originally installed it. Where a part is no longer available, we will suggest a suitable alternative or a sympathetic replacement.

What should we do with a dangerous fault before you arrive?

Take the affected equipment or area out of use straight away, fence or cordon it off, and keep pupils clear. Then report it to us as urgent so we can advise and get a repair booked in as fast as possible.

Do we have to close the whole playground for a repair?

Usually not. In most cases we can isolate the faulty item or a small area so the rest of the playground stays in use, and we work around your day to keep disruption to a minimum.
