The project
What we set out to do
The EYFS race track at Cold Harbour C of E Primary School in Milton Keynes needed a revamp. The school wanted a safe, durable surface the youngest pupils could use in more than one way.

The brief
The EYFS race track at Cold Harbour C of E Primary School in Milton Keynes needed a revamp. The school wanted a safe, durable surface the youngest pupils could use in more than one way.
Our approach
We laid EPDM safety surfacing for the race track and set a central area of artificial grass within it. The two surfaces together give the pupils a track to ride and run on plus a soft central space.
The result
The result is a safe, hard-wearing and multipurpose play area for the EYFS pupils, replacing the worn track that was there before.
