What we set out to do
The children's play area at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Swindon had grown tired and worn. We were asked to redesign it as a colourful, welcoming space where children could play while families shopped.

The brief
The children's play area at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Swindon had grown tired and worn. We were asked to redesign it as a colourful, welcoming space where children could play while families shopped.
Our approach
We resurfaced the area and reworked the layout, bringing in bright colours and new play features to replace the worn setup. The redesign turned it into a clear, cheerful space set within the wider outlet.
The result
The finished playground gives children a bright place to play, learn and grow, and gives the outlet a much fresher family space than the one it replaced.
